Location: Inner depths of the former Avon Factory, Nunn Mills Road, Northampton Year: 2006 Crews: n/a A classic picture showing the full depths of what was the former dis-used Avon factory in Nunn Mills, Northampton. For unaware readers, this urban wasteland was a treasure chest for rich and jaw dropping graffiti. Some say the ex-Avon factory was the biggest graffiti area in Western Europe, writers from all over the UK spent many hours showcasing their skills to a admiring audience. This paricular image is of the tall eastern located building on the site. On the ground level more or less every inch of the walls were covered in graffiti.

Nunn Mills/Avon/Southbridge East/Northampton Power Station graffiti from 2006 (now University of Northampton/Waterside)

Pictures taken in the summer of 2006, these images are captured on a site formally known as Northampton Power Station at Nunn Mills Road, Northampton. Locally the area was known as "Avon" next to the Avon Cosmetics headquarters. Some know it as Southbridge East but now in 2024, it is home to the University of Northampton at Waterside.
